Claire, Emily, and I watched Kiki’s Delivery Service which is amazingly charming and sweet. I love Miyazaki films, they make my heart swell three times its normal size.

I think Miyazaki Movie Night (yes, with all caps!) will have to become a tradition. I hope we can watch Howl’s Moving Castle next– I have such a soft spot for Howl and Sophie.

Today I had brunch with MK, Audra, and Andy. I worked out with Claire (yay gym buddies!) and have now decided that Daft Punk + Glee music is the best musical combination when it comes to get my admittedly lazy ass into shape.

And if the music doesn’t motivate me, the mental image I have of Rachel Berry at her elliptical does wonders.

(“If Rachel Berry can do it,” I tell myself, “So can I.” And yes, I know Rachel Berry is a fictional character, shut up.)

I have a boatload of reading (and write-ups!) to do. Woe is me.

I rewatched a few Glee episodes. I can’t believe we have to wait until April for new episodes!

Finn: Why do I always have to be the bigger man?

Me: BECAUSE YOU’RE EIGHT FEET TALL FRANKENTEEN.

And this is why I can’t have nice things. And why I usually have a brain-to-mouth filter.

I’m on a Glee high right now. This happens every Wednesday night.

I feel somewhat silly being this invested in a TV show.

The only other show I follow is Psych and I’m really behind on the current season– I’m on episode two. Glee? Entirely different story. Every Wednesday, I’m sitting in the Merion Common Room by 8:45 PM, waiting impatiently for it to start (and not caring about So You Think You Can Dance).

I love the music and I love most of the characters, even the background ones (Harry Shum Jr, you are amazing as Mike Chang– I hope you have a larger role in the near future!).

Kurt is my absolute favorite.I think he’s the breakout star of the series– not only does he steal every scene he’s in and nails his lines, I love keeping an eye on him in the background scenes. He’s never out of character– the “Bust a Move” scene tonight was a great example. I was laughing so hard at Kurt’s “Oh my god” face and put-upon expression and then he suddenly decides to join in by picking up a tambourine of all things. I’m so glad I finally got to see Kurt in that see-through Dolce and Gabbana rain trench-coat Chris Colfer always mentions in his interviews (“Someone get me to a day spa, stat!”).

Sue is amazingly hilarious- -I love her line about kittens and punching Mr. Schue in the face.

” I want it on my desk warm from the laminator at 5 p.m., and if it’s one minute late, I will go to the animal shelter and get you a kitty cat. I will let you fall in love with that kitty cat. And then on some dark, cold night, I will steal away into your home and punch you in the face.” I love how the cat was a bit of a red herring. She’s the epitome of evil and we all love her for it.

Now I’m going to finish my Chinese homework, glance at my polisci, and hopefully go to bed before 1 AM.

That would be amazing– I’ve been running so low on sleep this entire semester! And hopefully– Thursday will be a good day. :D

You know what I did instead of packing or trying to catch up with my work?

I watched Glee reruns with Tiffany.

Was it worth it?

Yes.

Is it 2 AM right now?

Yes.

Do I still need to pack?

Yes.

Hopefully, this means I’ll spend most of my Greyhound ride tomorrow unconscious.

I swear I sent out twenty emails/PMs this break.

Today is so gray and gloomy (and it snowed! It’s October!) which makes me listless.

This cheered me up though. I love, love Glee.

I never get tired of this clip. Finn’s spazzy dancing! Kurt’s intense rocker face! Harry Shum Jr being awesome as Mike Chang! I’m also a big fan of the song”It’s My Life” (hi, please don’t judge me).

Okay, the leather jackets also help a lot.
