Sarah Palin: I’d Like to be Chief of Staff :

Asked if she could “have one job in the White House tomorrow, what would it be,” Palin responded that she would like to take over from Rahm Emanuel.

“It would be chief of staff, so I could start appointing people who would recognize those things that America needs to get our economy back on the right track and to secure our nation,” she said.

It’s official, Sarah Palin is the Stephenie Meyer of the political world. How on earth was she an elected official and a running vice-president when she clearly does not understand how politics work? (Like when she had no idea what the vice-president job actually entailed.)

I’m thinking of Leo from The West Wing (RIP John Spencer), Rahm Emanuel (who is one of my favorite people in the entire world) and trying to imagine Sarah Palin in their place. And I can feel my brain breaking.
