grapefruit tea

This morning, I decided that what I desperately need in my life is a ringtone for whenever my mom calls. Currently, it’s set to my standard ringtone (OLIVIA’s A Little Pain). Throughout junior year when my mom and I were arguing about SATs it was set to The Imperial March (my dad was so, so amused–my mother decidedly less so).

I think I’ll set it to Fountains of Wayne’s “Stacy’s Mom” for the following reasons:

1. For laughs. I don’t know about you, but I’d probably get a kick of having my phone ring (“Stacy’s mom… has got it going on…”) and answering “Hey ma, what’s up?”

2. And  ’cause yeah, my mom does have it going on…¹
