grapefruit tea

This evening one of Andrea’s classmates invited her to have dinner with her! And invited me along! So we had sushi at Sushi Land om nom nom nom~! It was delicious.

After getting back to campus, Andy and I realized we had no plans for tonight since Andrea’s plans had been postponed.

“Hey,” sayeth Andrea, “Want to go to Starbucks?”

“Huh,” quoth Stacy, “We could bring our Chinese homework along and copy characters.”

So, we went on an adventure! … A very boring adventure. Because we are very boring people. But, it was an adventure nonetheless! It involved walking, handing over money, and sipping delicious hot drinks (Starbucks’s caramel apple spice is my lover) and bitching about which Chinese characters we thought were bothersome to write (like 費 ）.

Andy and I stumbled back onto campus, high on caffeine and life, and there are certain individuals on Merion 1st who are under the impression that our “late night Starbucks run” is a euphemism for “going to a party and getting totally trashed” since we’ve been giggling non-stop and walking into each other.

Good times have been had.

ME: True dat.

ANDREA: We are so drunk on caffeine right now.
ME: Hee, I’m half expecting a police car to pull up next to us and order us to take a breathalyzer test.

ANDREA: Everything right now is a funny. Fun-ny. Hee. Funny’s a funny word when you stretch it out.

ME: You can’t sit on my stomach, or it’ll end-
ANDREA: Badly!
ME: Yes! Like Haruhi from the beach episode of Ouran. Because we spent money and ate good food and it’ll go to waste!
ANDREA: *using vocab from previous Chinese lesson* Then you will 吃壞肚子了

ANDREA: … My limbs feel LEADEN.

ME: … I dreamt that my boyfriend was Edward Cullen and I was going on a roadtrip to find him and Jackie Chan was there to help me.

ANDREA: NEVER AGAIN!¹

ME: … That is such a lie.
