hey look, it’s an actual post
GOOD THINGS!
1. I have girl scout cookies! Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, and Thanks-A-Lots. I’m probably going to gain ten pounds in the next two weeks but I don’t care.
2. I’m madly in love with Psych, the show. It’s predictable, safe, adorable, and hilarious. In other words: perfect braincandy for me to watch when I write Chinese characters.
3. My health went downhill immediately after quitting Uncommon Grounds but it’s finally getting better now. I’m pleased.
4. People from my dorm, Merion, are playing Assassin. The object of the game is to ‘kill’ one’s assigned target and then take their target. We’re using post-it notes (with the cause of death, a la Death Note, no?) in our game and I’m still in! … Of course, my victim lives on the second floor and the person who’s trying to kill meĀ lives down the hall from her which makes it difficult for me to get to my target. Still, it’s a great game!
5. In addition to #4, Andrea and I have concluded that I fail at being a ninja kitty. Stealthiness is not one of my strong points. Also, I look like a paranoid psycho since I keep looking shifty-eyed and edgy. I refused to be assassinated, dammit!
THE BAD
1. There’s a blood drive at my school. I wasn’t allowed to donate because Fujian and Guilin are places with low-risk malaria. So… I’m not allowed to donate blood for a year. :| I actually like donating blood since it’s something I can actually do.
2. I’m starting to dislike my Human Rights in China class because we’re doing way too much philosophy and far too little history. … I like history. I do not, however, like philosophy because there are too many variables and theoretics. I’m also not very good at philosophy either; just give me facts opposed to whimsical thoughts and ideas.
